ABOUT TIVOLI

Tivoli Lodge #300 was formed in 2002 to support individual Danish Sisterhood members across the country who do not live near a community with an in-person lodge. In October of 2019, a small number of committed Tivoli Lodge members put forth a proposal at the National Danish Sisterhood Convention in Omaha, NE to further develop the structure of Tivoli to emulate the education and socialization of other lodges.

And so the new Tivoli Lodge #300 was born. Now with monthly online meetings, we are able to connect with members across the country. From Danish holiday celebrations to virtual trips, we enjoy learning together and from each other.

About Dronning Margrethe Lodge

Our Danish Sisterhood in Milwaukee began on September 20, 1891 in Milwaukee WI as the 15th Sisterhood lodge formed in the United States. Our focus is education to connect you with Danish Heritage, learn about Danish Culture, Customs and traditions. We strive to strengthen connections to Denmark and preserve our heritage for generations to come. We offer Monthly Zoom Meetings with national and international speakers. We also host in person meetings, special events, field trips, and community service activities. We host Danish Genealogy and Hardanger Stitching special interest groups. The lodge authors a monthly and quarterly newsletter written by and for our members.

We have Sisters and Mister Sisters throughout the state of Wisconsin as well as members on both coasts who enjoy our connection.

About Ellen Lodge

Ellen Lodge #21 is currently the only lodge in Colorado and was founded in 1892. We meet monthly at "Nissebo", our Danish home here in Colorado, or in members' homes. The common thread in all that we do is hygge.
